AQUON at swisscleantech Webinar
On 26.02.2020 an interesting webinar took place hosted by swisscleantech where a group of swisscleantech members presented their hydrogen projects.
The trade association swisscleantech has over 350 members from all sectors. All members are committed to climate protection and have therefore signed their charta.
Swisscleantech moves politics and society and ensures that Switzerland becomes CO2-neutral by 2050 at the latest. AQUON signed the charta on February 22, 2019, therefore following these important guidelines for more than a year in this collective and as a company since its beginning.
As being part of the swisscleantech community AQUON had the opportunity to present and share some information about its current work progress and the AQUON vision.
Our own Franziska Steidle-Sailer, Strategic Market Development Manager, talked about how Swiss Sustainable Yachts AG is revolutionizing the sustainable yacht business by building the state-of-the-art AQUON catamaran. As the presence of the topic of hydrogen as a clean and safe power source increases in the German speaking region, swisscleantech as a leading trade association has made it its mission to evaluate the potential of hydrogen in the energy system transformation and its strengths and weaknesses.
Especially for the yacht industry hydrogen propulsion means a lot more freedom and opportunity. A branch as advanced as the yachting industry can be brought to a higher level of excellence with this type of propulsion and power creation. As AQUON stands for independence, sustainability, and innovation this energy system is the right step towards a clean yachting sport and a better future.
